Sister Lucy Shetters, sister-in-charge for 38 years at St. Mary’s Convent in Sewanee, preached the sermon on the Feast of the Presentation on Feb. 2. On this date in 1865, the Community of St. Mary was founded; it is the oldest indigenous Anglican order in the U.S. Congratulations to the Community of St. Mary for 149 years of service.
